A FIRE which raged through a Bradford house in the early hours of this morning is being treated as "suspicious", police have said.
They are investigating the circumstances of the fire and are specifically appealing to hear from anyone who may have lived in, visited or had associations with the property at 14 Cross Road, Manningham.
A spokesperson said: "Due to the unsafe nature of the building, a full search of the property has not yet been possible.
"The fire was first reported to police at 2.42am. The fire service attended and police closed surrounding roads to safely manage the scene and protect the public.
"Residents of three neighbouring houses, also thought be to at risk from the fire, were evacuated.
"The house has received substantial structural damage.
"The cause of the fire, which is being treated as ‘suspicious’, is now being investigated and police want to hear from anyone who may have seen or heard anything in the area that might be of interest to the investigation.
"In particular they need to hear from anyone who may have been previously living, staying or visiting there.
"Anyone with information is urged to call West Yorkshire Police on 101 or via LiveChat online, quoting log 131 of 05/06/2020."
