BRADFORD agency Headway Recruitment will this month celebrate its 40th birthday in spite of Covid-19.

Rather than celebrating in the usual way, it will be making a donation to its client, Virgin Money, in its charitable appeal to help NHS workers.

Like many other businesses in the knowledge sector, Headway said it has been impacted by the ongoing difficulties but with remote working practices in place it has been possible to adapt.

Managing director Mark Gill said: “Some positivity in amongst the current situation is just what’s needed. Whilst the firm may not be able to have a party, we would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has supported the business over the years and express our sympathies to anyone who is suffering at this time.”

Established in 1980 by David Gill, Headway’s first office was located in Leeds before expanding to Bradford, with a presence kept in both cities ever since.

Mark said: “We listen to our clients and work in partnership with them. We never stop learning and innovating.

“Our 40 years in business is another element of our Insight process. Connection with our clients and candidates over that period means we are often the first point of contact for the best candidates searching for their next move.”
