Man taken to hospital after getting trapped under car that collapsed on top of him
A man became trapped under a vehicle when it seemingly collapsed on top of him as he worked on it.
He was rescued by firefighters and taken to hospital by ambulance shortly after 8pm on Monday.
The incident, in Edge Avenue, Thornhill, Dewsbury, was attended by two crews from Dewsbury.
A fire service spokesperson said: "Male casualty trapped underneath vehicle which apparently collapsed whilst he was working on it. Rescued by fire service using hydraulic high pressure air mats and taken to hospital by ambulance."
