BRADFORD PHAB Club has received a welcome surprise from the Lord Lieutenant of West Yorkshire.
Edmund Anderson sent an official note of thanks to the club, run by chairman Akbar Khan, for the work its members had carried out to help vulnerable people during lockdown.
Mr Khan shared the signed note on social media saying: "Nice surprise when Her Majesty's Lord Lieutenant of West Yorkshire, Edmund Anderson, sends Bradford PHAB club a personal message of thanks for supporting the community during lockdown. Well done to all our volunteers, everyone connected to PHAB and everyone who supports our club. Be proud."
