FIVE further Covid-19-related deaths have been reported by hospitals in the Bradford district.
The Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust reported two further deaths of patients who died on May 28 after testing positive for the virus.
Airedale Hospital also reported three further deaths, one which occurred on May 29 and two others on April 4 and 15. The Trust has only just released data associated with the two deaths in April.
The Covid-19 hospital death toll for the district now stands at 305 - 198 deaths at the Bradford Teaching Hospitals trust, 105 at Airedale and two at the Bradford District Care trust.
In Yorkshire and the North East, the deaths of a further 29 people were announced today.
And for England, the deaths of a further 146 people who tested positive for Covid-19 were announced, bringing the total number of confirmed reported deaths in hospitals in England to 26,529.
The figures do not include deaths outside hospital settings.
Patients were aged between 46 and 97 years old. Six of the 146 patients (aged between 46 and 91) had no known underlying health condition
Their families have been informed.
