ALDI is launching a special-edition rainbow ice cream with all profits, equivalent to 50p per tub sold, to be split between NHS Charities Together and Teenage Cancer Trust.

Made in Britain, the Rainbow Ice Cream (£1.99, 1L) will be available in stores across the UK from Monday, June 1 and throughout summer.

The fun and colourful vanilla and raspberry ripple flavoured ice cream is finished with a rainbow sprinkling of hundreds and thousands.

The launch of Aldi's new Ice Cream is part of the supermarket’s ongoing commitment to support NHS staff and volunteers, and charity partner Teenage Cancer Trust who provide specialist care for young people aged 13-24 with cancer.

Last month, Aldi launched a limited-edition bunch of Rainbow Tulips to mark International Nurses Day, with all profits split between NHS Charities Together and Teenage Cancer Trust.

Aldi provides NHS staff, alongside Blue Light Card holders with priority access to Aldi stores at all times, along with exclusive access to stores 30 minutes before normal opening times on Sundays.
