BRADFORD City’s giant-killing win over Chelsea has been snubbed on a list of the top 50 greatest FA Cup moments of all time.
To mark what would have been the this year’s cup final showpiece yesterday, the BBC have compiled a list of the top moments from the world’s oldest cup competition’s illustrious history.
But the Bantams’ amazing 4-2 comeback win over Chelsea at Stamford Bridge in January 2015 has failed to make the cut. The show was broadcast on television yesterday but the full list can be seen online.
The Telegraph & Argus won’t spoil the order of the list, billed as the competition's ultimate iconic moments.
This is a further snub to City’s magnificent achievement from five years ago after it was snubbed for a second time on another FA Cup programme.
It was also left out of then top 10 FA Cup moments on last night’s Match of the Day Podcast, hosted by Gary Lineker and featuring the choices of Alan Shearer and Ian wright compiled by the public.
City fans took to social media to voice their annoyance at their side’s achievement being omitted. Here is an example:
#MOTDTop10 where are #bcafc in this top 10? Lg2 against a PL team leading the prem, unbeaten at home for ages. Coming back from 2-0 down. How can it not be in top 10?
