FIVE new Covid-19-related deaths have been reported by hospitals in the Bradford district today.
The latest figures from NHS England show the Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, Airedale and the Bradford District Care NHS Foundation Trust have recorded five further deaths today.
That means the total hospital death toll for the district still stands at 292 - 190 at Bradford Teaching Hospitals, 100 at Airedale and two at the care trust.
The Bradford Teaching Hospitals deaths were recorded: one on May 22; two on May 21 and one on May 20.
The Airedale death was recorded on May 21.
In Yorkshire and the North East a total of 36 further deaths were reported.
For the whole of England, the deaths of a further 157 people who tested positive for the Covid-19 were announced, bringing the total number of confirmed reported deaths in hospitals in England to 25,544.
Patients were aged between 12 and 100 years old. Seven of the 157 patients, aged between 57 and 88, had no known underlying health condition. Their families have been informed.
