THE Bradford Hindu Council delivered meals to a charity which provides care for adults and children.
The meals for the Mirfield-based Hollybank Trust were provided by six families and also by the Prashad restaurant in Drighlington.
Like many others, the Bradford Hindu Council has been working hard throughout the Covid-19 crisis to support people.
It recently dished up meals for emergency nightshift workers and organised a huge delivery for the Bradford Metropolitan Foodbank.
Anna O'Mahoney, chief executive at the Hollybank Trust, said: "On behalf of our support workers I'd like to say a big thank you to the Bradford Hindu Council and Prashad restaurant for their kind donation of free meals.
"Over the last eight weeks, our support workers have gone above and beyond and put the needs of our children and young people and adults first.
"We are so proud of them and we are so grateful to you for thinking of us at this challenging time.
"Thank you, so much."
