DURING lockdown we’ve all seen a lot more of our homes, but with the help of social media we’ve also seen a lot more of our favourite celebrities’ homes too.
Whether it’s for interiors inspiration or we just want a bit of a nosey to kill some time, many of us love to have a peek inside the houses of the rich and famous.
To find out which celebrity houses we’re curious about the most, Rated People has analysed Google data to reveal whose homes have the highest number of searches a year.
After analysing the search data around hundreds of the most famous people in the world, the research found that the most searched for celebrity houses are surprisingly varied.
The top 10 is made up of the homes of online influencers, actors, musicians, TV presenters, entrepreneurs and sports stars.
The results show that it’s Kim Kardashian’s house that is the most Googled – with 168,000 searches a year.
The Los Angeles home, that she shares with Kanye West and their four children, is famously minimalist and is regularly shared on her social media channels.
Rated People also analysed the UK specific search data, to discover which celebrity houses Brits are searching for the most.
Surprisingly it’s the house of musician Ed Sheeran that tops the list - in the past year there’s been a whopping 46,800 searches for his home.
The data also shows that we’re searching for former glamour model Kate Price’s home more than that of US reality TV star Kim Kardashian – over 12 months Katie Price’s house is searched for 24,000 more times.
Alongside film stars, TV presenters and footballers, the houses of two YouTubers and one Instagrammer also make the top list.
The data reveals Pewdiepie’s house is the most searched for influencer house and cleaning influencer Mrs Hinch’s home is searched for as much as make-up entrepreneur Kylie Jenner’s (10,800 times annually).
Beauty influencer Jeffree Star, also makes the list with 9,600 annual searches for his house.
