PLANS to build housing on land near a busy Baildon junction have been withdrawn by the developer.
Andrew Hardisty had submitted an application that would have seen seven houses built on an area of scrub land at the junction of Cliffe Lane, Green Lane and Otley Road.
But the plans soon attracted objections. Bradford Council's highways department said it could not support the plans. Officers said there was not enough on site parking and that the extra traffic to and from the homes would lead to a "significant increase" in traffic at the junction.

There had also been 37 objections from members of the public, many of whom raised traffic concerns.
The application was withdrawn late last week, before a decision was made by planning officers.
