A FURTHER two people died with Covid-19 in Bradford district hospitals, it has been announced, bringing the number of fatalities in the area to 273.

There was one further death recorded at Airedale Hospital and another at Bradford Royal Infirmary.

Both occurred on May 15.

It means that a total of 94 people have died at the Airedale Trust and 177 at Bradford Teaching Hospitals Trust.

There were no further deaths recorded at Bradford District Care Trust and its total remains at two.

A further 181 people, who tested positive for the Coronavirus (Covid-19), have died in English hospitals bringing the total number of confirmed reported deaths there to 24,527.

Patients were aged between 39 and 98 years old.

Seven of the 181 patients (aged between 43 and 67 years old) had no known underlying health condition.

Their families have been informed.
