FANCY dress fundraiser Gary Wainwright has collected more than £700 in aid of NHS Charities Together.
The Halifax Road resident has appeared at the Clap for Carers event every Thursday evening in a variety of costumes over the past few weeks.
From a nurse's outfit to super heroes and St George, he has entertained neighbours and coined in £710 of his £1,000 fundraising target.
The joiner said next Thursday would be his last appearance for the cause however he promised on Facebook that he would deliver for his finale.
He thanked all those who had donated after his family broadcast his antics on Facebook Live.
