A NEW app designed to help people get beer and cider delivered to their doorsteps – and keep businesses afloat – has been launched.

The Campaign for Real Ale (CAMRA) has produced the Brew2You app, which provides a shop window for those currently offering their tipples through takeaway or delivery services.

Customers can search for a favourite drink within their area and then order it to their door.

Over 300 pubs and breweries are currently listed. Several across the Keighley district are offering services.

The app initiative was set-up as part of CAMRA’s Pulling Together campaign, aimed at supporting the industry through the current coronavirus crisis.

Nik Antona, for CAMRA, said: “It is imperative that we do whatever we can to help these businesses. Many pubs and breweries are already offering takeaway and delivery services during the lockdown, and this app helps customers find brews with just a click of a button.” For more details, visit brew2you.co.uk.
