A SUPERMARKET has donated much-needed items to Oxenhope Sue Ryder hospice Manorlands to help staff during the coronavirus pandemic.
Morrisons in Skipton has presented the hospice with goods including cartons of drink, and hand sanitiser and moisturiser.
Keith Moorby – temporary community champion at the store – contacted Manorlands after hearing how it was in need of help, to see what assistance the retailer might be able to offer.
“After the phone call and a meeting with Adam Marks – our store general manager – we could give the hospice exactly what it asked for,” he said. “If we could all offer help, no matter how great or small, to such charities in these trying times it may help save lives.”
