The 1960s saw perhaps the most radical changes in Bradford’s topography, with what became known as the Wardley era.
Although Stanley Wardley’s plans for the redevelopment of Bradford city centre were first unveiled in 1953, it was after his death in 1965 that most of his visions were realised.
