AN 18-YEAR-OLD has been arrested and charged for drugs offences by police in Shipley.
The teenager was arrested on Friday by Shpley Neighbourhood Policing Team for possession of class A drugs with intent to supply following a search under the Misuse of Drugs Act on Carr Lane.
Police reported that he was charged following CPS advice last night with a total of seven counts of possession with intent to supply class A offences.
He appeared at Leeds Magistrates Court this morning and has been remanded into custody. He will appear at Bradford Crown Court next month.
Shipley police said: "We are committed to delivering on our ward priorities by attacking criminality and disrupting organised crime groups through pro-active policing."
