A NEW online series which follows six young people from Bradford as they delve into the world of magic and mystery premiered today, shot on location in the city.
The School of Hard Tricks - which is available to watch on BBC iPlayer - features a diverse group of young people from across the district who learn all the tricks of the trade from three professional magicians.
The group - who are introduced as “six strangers” with “zero magic skills” - get three weeks to learn and perfect their expertise, before they take their magic to the streets of Bradford, and then to a packed-out theatre where they perform a major show.
The six Bradfordians - aged between 18 and 21 - all face their own challenges and struggles in life, but attempt to use their new skills to become the best versions of themselves.
The three 20 minute-long episodes feature shots in places such as Salts Mill, the Alhambra Theatre and The Broadway shopping centre.
The six stars of the series are Devorn, Gabby, Haris, Callum, Dylan and Brit.
