A 34-YEAR-old Bradford man is stepping up to raise money for a cancer charity in memory of his mother-in-law.
Over the next three days Rob Blacka, of Fairweather Green, is to climb the height of Mount Everest on his stairs at home.
To reach the 8,848 metres required, he will need to go up and down the flight of stairs a total of 4,424 times.
He paid tribute to Maureen Kellett, or Lil Mo, as she was known, who died in February after a short battle with cancer.
Rob said: "The more I think about this, the more gargantuan it seems, but I wanted to do something worthy of such an amazing woman who has influenced and will continue to influence my life in so many ways."
Money raised will benefit Macmillan Cancer Support.
