A RECYCLING campaign in Steeton, held Bradford Council before the lockdown, proved a success.
Recycling advisers knocked on doors to tell residents about the benefits of recycling and give out stickers to put on household bins.
A spokesman said: “Our crews reported that as a result of the initiative items such as plastic waste had reduced. Thank you cards were delivered to residents and the initiative was well supported in the Steeton locality.”
A report to Keighley Area Committee also stated that new houses near Airedale Hospital were provided with recycling bins and stickers as part of the initiative.
