THE NHS has put together expert advice and practical tips to help people manage their mental health and well-being during the coronavirus pandemic.

Its 'Every Mind Matters' page offers advice on how to manage mental well-being while stuck at home, as a result of the lockdown, as well as support with anxiety, stress and sleeping problems.

This comes in addition to the launch of an NHS mental health hotline, staffed by thousands of specially trained volunteers, which is open for phone calls every day between 7am and 11pm, and has a 24-hour text service, all free of charge.

A link to the NHS Every Mind Matters page was tweeted by West Yorkshire's Police and Crime Commissioner, Mark Burns-Williamson, yesterday afternoon.
