A BARN was destroyed in a large fire last night.
Four fire engines from Clitheroe, Padiham and Hyndburn were called to the barn fire on Heron Mews in Clitheroe.

Firefighters used two jets, one hose reel, two breathing apparatus and a pump.
No injuries were reported and an investigation into the cause of the fire is ongoing.
At 10.30am on Monday, two fire engines remained at the scene to rake out the hay and straw which was still smouldering.
