Yorkshire's Collingwood Learning has been awarded Education Exporter of the Year at the Education Resources Awards 2020 for their alcohol awareness programme Smashed.

The play showed secondary school students, aged 12 to 14, a group of friends who find themselves in trouble as a result of their misuse of alcohol.

95% of students said they were less likely to drink alcohol underage after taking part.

The judges described the scheme as 'a great, high impact intervention in tackling the worldwide problem of underage drinking.'

They also said: "We were impressed by this innovative approach, by Collingwood’s business model, and by their eagerness to extend their reach to an international audience."
