A MAN who was caught carrying a knuckle duster in a supermarket has been jailed.
Zack Miller, from Fearnhead, was found with the weapon in Asda in the Cockhedge Centre during an incident on Thursday, February 13.
The 22-year-old was also in possession of a quantity of heroin.
He admitted possession of an offensive weapon in a public place and possession of a class A drug at Warrington Magistrates Court on Friday, March 20.
Miller, of Valiant Close, was handed six months behind bars and told to pay a £122 victim surcharge.
Forfeiture and destruction of the knuckle duster and heroin was also ordered by the magistrates.
