THE NHS has revealed today's latest figures on coronavirus, where one further death has been reported in the Bradford district.

According to the NHS statement, one person has died from COVID-19 at an Airedale NHS Foundation Trust hospital, bringing the Bradford district's total death toll to nine.

Elsewhere in West Yorkshire, a further seven people are reported to have died from COVID-19 in Leeds, bringing the district's death toll to 19, while there were four further deaths reported from The Mid Yorkshire Hospitals NHS Trust, which includes hospitals in Pontefract, Wakefield and Dewsbury.

The NHS statement also says that, nationally, a further 367 people have died from the virus, which brings the total number of deaths in England to 1,651.

The statement says the 367 patients who have died, "Were aged between 19 and 98 years old and all but 28 patients (aged between 19 and 91 years old) had underlying health conditions."  

The NHS also confirmed that the patients' families have been informed.
