THREE more people have died from coronavirus in the district bringing the total to five since last weekend.
Today's announcement by NHS England says two deaths have been announced by Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. The patients died on March 27 and 28.
The NHS Trust also confirmed a further death at Airedale NHS Foundation Trust occurred yesterday.
Prior to that Airedale NHS Foundation Trust said two had died on March 26 and last weekend.
In addition, Barnsley Hospital NHS Foundation Trust has recorded a further death and three more have died at Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust.
The Mid Yorkshire Hospitals NHS Trust has confirmed two more cases while three have died at Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
Today, NHS England said a further 190 people had died in England, bringing the total in the country to 1,125.Throughout the UK, the number of deaths since yesterday rose by 209 to 1,228.
Infections had jumped by 2,483 to 19,522.
