POLICE are re-appealing for information regarding an incident that took place in Bradford on Wednesday night, where a woman was reported to have been injured and in a distressed state.

Officers from West Yorkshire Police were called, at around 7.30pm on 25 March, to reports of a woman who was said to be shouting for help and arguing with a male, on Grove Terrace, just off of Morley Street.

Officers attended but were unable to locate the woman, who is described as an Asian female.

Detective Chief Inspector Andy Farrell, who is leading the investigation, said:

“We are today issuing this CCTV image of the woman, which shows her in an alleyway between Grove Terrace and Mannville Terrace on the night of the incident.

“Our enquiries suggest she was in an altercation with a male, who has then driven away with her in a black Vauxhall Corsa.

“We have recovered a vehicle matching this description, but we urgently need to find this woman to make sure she is safe and well.”

Two men have been arrested in connection with this ongoing investigation, as enquiries continue to establish the circumstances around this incident. Both remain in custody.

Police remain keen to speak to anyone who saw a black Vauxhall Corsa in Grove Terrace at about 7.20pm on Wednesday, or anyone who saw a male and female arguing in the area at around this time.

Anyone who can assist enquiries is asked to call police on 101 or use the contact options on the West Yorkshire Police website.”

The log reference is 1588 of 25 March.

Information can also be reported anonymously to the independent charity Crimestoppers.
