AS many shops have now closed in line with the Prime Minister's new rules, some remain open in Blackburn Mall.
Prime Minister Boris Johnson revealed on Monday evening that people were no longer allowed out unless for one or more of the essential reasons.
This included buying groceries, medicine, aiding a vulnerable person, one form of exercise and essential work.
Alongside this, Mr Johnson ordered shops which do not sell vital things to close, such as clothing stores, eateries that cannot operate via takeaway services, and hair salons.
Among the stores still open in The Mall Blackburn, which are providing an essential service, include health poduct and medicine providers Superdrug, Holland and Barratt and Boots.
There is also, Poundland, Wilko, B&M, H&H News, Poundbakery, Santander and the Post Office.
