A NUMBER of Council meetings planned for this week have been cancelled in light of the Coronavirus pandemic.

But others are planned to still go ahead.

The Council’s decision making Executive is due to meet in City Hall on Tuesday morning, almost at the same time as the Bradford Area Planning Panel.

The Keighley Area Planning Panel will meet on Wednesday in Keighley Town Hall.

However, a meeting of the West Yorkshire Pension Fund, due to take place on Tuesday, has been postponed.

The Bradford West Area Committee was due to meet on Wednesday evening to discuss issues such as preventing the exploitation of vulnerable children in Bradford West, a planned 20mph zone in Clayton and funding for a number of road safety schemes.

It has now been cancelled.

Also cancelled is the Bradford South Area Committee, planned for Thursday, and the Keighley Area Committee, also planned for Thursday.

All three meetings planned for the next week have been cancelled - the Bradford and Airedale Health and Wellbeing Board, the Shipley Area Committee and the Health and Social Care Overview and Scrutiny Committee.
