BRADFORD Bulls managed to defy Coronavirus to get their Challenge Cup game on, but they couldn’t beat opponents Wakefield Trinity.
John Kear’s men crashed out of the prestigious competition, after reaching the quarter-finals last year, after a 17-14 loss at Trinity.
Here are some of the comments posted online following Friday night’s fifth round exit.
The original old bull posted on the Telegraph & Argus match report: “Apparently the Wakefield coach said that the best team lost which is so true.
“If we play like that all season we will have a great one. COYB.”
Millyn: “Fantastic game from the Bulls, better side and should be proud of their performance. Well done. Looking forward to next league games.”
Bartsbull: “Absolute best game for a long time, yes the best team lost, oh how I wish we had a little more composure.
“But credit where credit is due we were playing a full time super league side with international players in their side and we didn't look out of place.
“Lads keep it up, come on you bulls, let's have the same again next week.”
True confessions: “Well played Bulls, if we continue to play like that for the rest of the season we will be in with a shout for promotion.”
Here are a few posts from the players and the club:
