A BRADFORD school has disputed claims that a teacher is at risk of coronavirus after rumours spread around the local community.
Both parents and children had told people that a teacher from Beckfoot Thornton School fainted halfway through a class.
They also said his sister had recently returned from an area with a significant number of coronavirus cases, putting the teacher at risk.
But today the school quashed the rumours.
A spokesperson for the school said: "We can confirm that Beckfoot Thornton have no incidents relating to coronavirus."
The school also said it continues to follow guidance from Public Health England and NHS 111 advice.
