The death of Mohammed Feazan Ayaz sparked a dramatic and fast-moving murder inquiry.
After the 20-year-old's body was found in Saffron Drive, Allerton, in the early hours of July 1, West Yorkshire Police's murder squad swung into action with full force.
At a lightning rate, officers swooped on a series of properties across the Bradford district in the hunt for suspects and clues, pouncing on houses in suburban streets at all times of day and night over a period of around a fortnight.
The most high-profile operation came at Denholme Business Centre, which ultimately proved to be central to the probe.
Mike Simmonds, photographic coordinator for the Telegraph & Argus, attended the huge police scenes in Allerton and Denholme, plus half a dozen house raids in various parts of Bradford and the Aire Valley.
Today, with three men due to be sentenced for murder, we reflect on the images he captured.
