A POLISH man who punched his victim and stole £70 in a row over handing over half his wages has been jailed.
Adrian Zalewski, 35, helped Patryk Lorek get a job when he first moved to the city from Poland in November 2018.
But he did so on the condition Mr Lorek handed over half his wages for the first ten weeks, Bradford Crown Court heard.
After initially paying up, Mr Lorek ran out of cash and refused to hand over any more of his wages.
Zalewski, of Devonshire Street, Keighley, turned up at his victim's home address in January 2019 with two other men, demanding money before punching in the face him while using what was thought to be a knuckle duster.
He took £70 from his wallet and left, the court was told.
Zalewski was sentenced to 13 weeks in prison and will be extradited to Poland to face another jail sentence.
