DRIVERS heading towards the M62 could face delays this afternoon after police and ambulance teams were called to reports of a collision.
Yorkshire Air Ambulance and road policing units arrived at the scene of the incident, involving a red Toyota Auris, around 1.30pm.
Those involved are believed to have minor injuries.
Highways England was forced to close multiple lanes on the M62 eastbound so emergency teams could work efficiently.
The stretch most affected by the collision is junction 24 Huddersfield to junction 25 Brighouse, with delays of about six minutes.
Highways England reported that traffic is now passing the scene but slowly.
