BrewDog is set to open a new branch in Bradford.

The bar and brewery chain is currently advertising for three managerial positions at a Morley Street location.

Job specification for the roles say that BrewDog Bradford will feature not only the beer which the company is famous for but also a branch of Red’s True Barbecue which has six outlets around the country, at present including two in Leeds.

Caterer.com has job adverts for a general manager, a deputy general manager and a kitchen manager.

The postcode location indicates that the new venue will be on Morley Street near to The Alhambra theatre.

Workers in vans were today parked outside both entrances to the former Brewhaus/Bierkeller premises which have been closed for more than a year. In October 2018 the company told the T&A they were in early stage discussions over the site.

The job advert for the general manager comes with a salary of £26,000 per annum.

The advert says the manager will be leading a team of 20 across the kitchen, floor and bar.

It adds: “This is an amazing opportunity to build and inspire an amazing crew to rock BrewDog Bradford and help us drive the craft beer revolution!”

The deputy general manager’s role is advertised at up to £22,000 while the kitchen manager will be paid £9.50 an hour.

When asked about whether they were interested in taking over the Brewhaus premises in October 2018, the company said they were constantly looking at sites across the city but Bradford was not on the most recent list of bars to come.

This afternoon, a post appeared on Red's True Barbecue Headingley's Facebook page confirming it would be running the kitchen at the new Bradford establishment.

The post read: "Love barbecue? Love beer? Looking for new challenges? Have we got opportunities for you.

"BrewDog are opening in Bradford, and we're taking over their kitchen. That's right - BrewDog handle the brew, Red's handle the 'cue.

"BrewDog Bradford are looking for front of house staff and bar staff, we're hiring kitchen staff. If it's something you're interested in, come see us at our recruitment day. When? 11am - 4pm, Tuesday 10th March 2020
