AN eyesore site in Allerton has sold at auction for £300,000 - £20,000 above its guide price.
The former site of the Old Kings Head pub on Hill Top Lane went under the hammer at a property auction by Pugh Auctioneers at Leeds United's grounds on Thursday with a £280,000 guide price.
Details of the buyer have not yet been revealed.
A planning application to build five four-bed homes and four three-bed homes on the 0.6 acre site was approved by Bradford Council in February 2017.

The pub dated back to 1820, but was shut in 2007. There had been plans to convert the building, but it was plagued by vandalism and arson attacks until it was eventually demolished.
Other items sold at the auction include a Council owned bungalow - 274 Haworth Road, which sold for £75,000.
