AVERAGE SALARY levels across Yorkshire & the Humber grew for the second year running in 2019, according to new data released by Reed Specialist Recruitment.
Reed, which has the largest candidate database in the country, published The Reed Accountancy & Finance Salary Guide 2020, which analysed 7.5 million jobs posted since the start of 2016. It found a 1.6 per cent average salary growth for Yorkshire & the Humber during 2019.
Mike Harrison, Yorkshire & the Humber regional managing director for Reed Specialist Recruitment, said: "Businesses and candidates in Yorkshire & the Humber are at the start of a positive projection for the region. They can see their careers and businesses take off. It just needs the right recruitment strategy to capture the right candidates.”
