MONTHS after it officially opened its doors, Sedbergh Leisure Centre finally had its official opening ceremony yesterday.
The £17.5 million centre on Cleckheaton Road opened it’s doors in November - replacing nearby Richard Dunn Sports Centre.
Since then it has seen thousands of visitors enjoy the state-of-the-art facilities.

Yesterday, Bradford South MP Judith Cummins and Bradford Councillor Sarah Ferriby unveiled the plaque at the official opening of the sports centre.
Cllr Ferriby, Bradford Council’s Executive Member for Healthy People and Places, said: “I am thrilled that Sedbergh has proved such a success. It is a great facility for our residents and one we can all be proud of.”
