A ROAD was partially blocked this morning after a car was smashed up in a crash.
Town Lane, in Idle, was blocked in part - near the Holy Trinity Church - after an accident, according to the AA's Traffic Page.
It happened at around 9.28am.
A witness, who shared pictures on social media website, Facebook, said the crash involved a black Golf and a red vehicle.
The Golf was badly damaged, with the front-left of the car in a particularly bad way.
The left wheel and its arch were completely out of shape.
Meanwhile, the red vehicle had a large dint at the back.
There was debris littered across the road as well.
The witness added that there were no injuries.
Police said one of the vehicles had been left in the middle of the road.
A police spokesperson said: "We are making further enquiries to trace the driver."
Traffic was slow due to the blockage, but it was removed at around 10.30am, according to the AA's Traffic Page.
