BRADFORD City will welcome three Manchester United legends to Valley Parade on Saturday, March 14, one of whom used to be their former manager.

The ex-players, who appearing in Bradford as part of the Superstar Speakers Manchester United Legends Tour of the UK, are Clayton Blackmore, Gary Pallister and Bryan Robson.

Robson took charge of City in November 2003, his second role in management following seven years at Middlesbrough.

But it proved to be a dark time for Robson and the Bantams. He only won seven of his league games in charge, as City finished 23rd in Division One and were relegated. He and the club subsequently parted ways at the end of the 2003/04 season.

There will be a bit less pressure on this return to Bradford, a whole 16 years later.

The legends trio of Robson, Pallister and Blackmore will be meeting the fans for an exclusive photo session, then heading on stage to tell stories of their careers, before taking questions from the audience

All three men were part of the early 1990s Manchester United team that won the European Cup Winners Cup in 1991, as well as the first ever Premier League in 1993.

They have each won the FA Cup at least once too, all of them forming a key part of the start of Sir Alex Ferguson’s reign of dominance in English football.

Blackmore was widely-known as the footballers' footballer, a versatile player who played in every position for United and had a flair for incredible goals.

Pallister was a stalwart defender, who won a trophy every year he was at United, while Robson is regarded by some as the club's greatest ever player.

He was a man who gave his all for both club and country, who to this day sets the standard for what a football captain should be.

The evening at Valley Parade is not only for Manchester United fans, but football fans in general, with opportunities to pick up some great sporting memorabilia

The event starts at 7pm and tickets start at £35. You can purchase them using this link:
