THE inquest into the death of a young man killed in a crash in Keighley has been opened.
Conor Mitchell, 26, from Skipton, was driving a silver Ford Focus along Skipton Road, Utley, towards Steeton, when it left the road and struck a wall at around 1.25am on February 20.
He was taken to Leeds General Infirmary, but died later in the day.
A full inquest hearing will be scheduled for a later date.
Tributes flooded in paying tribute to Mr Mitchell after the sad news broke.
Emilie Novkovic wrote: We love you today, tomorrow and forever. You had the most biggest kindest heart, and we will miss you forever and a day! I can’t put into words the heart ache you have left behind, I promise to look after your darling princess, we will keep your memories going and we will never forget you."
