THE UNIVERSITY of Bradford will host its inaugural Annual Law Lecture next week, welcoming the President of the International Criminal Court (ICC).
Judge Chile Eboe-Osuji will lead a speech titled 'The International Criminal Court - an Indispensable Instrument of Accountability for the Gravest International Crimes' at the lecture, which takes place on Thursday 5 March.
Judge Chile Eboe-Osuji was elected to the ICC in 2011 and became its President in 2018. Prior to joining the ICC, he had a distinguished career in law, including serving as a legal expert to Nigeria’s delegation to the ICC-ASP Special Working Group on the Definition of the Crime of Aggression and appearing in many criminal, civil and constitutional cases before national courts in Nigeria and Canada.
