SEVERAL Bradford areas could be flooded after two warnings were issued by the Environment Agency.
The Government body announced that "flooding is expected" and "immediate action is required" for the River Aire at Cottingley and Shipley and Saltaire.
The water level has risen rapidly this morning due to rainfall and snow.
For the Cottingley warning, properties around the Bradford and Bingley Sports Club are at risk of flooding.
The Shipley and Saltaire warning relates to properties around Baildon Road.
A spokesperson for the Environment Agency said: "Levels are expected to remain high into Tuesday morning (February 25) before they will begin to fall.
"No significant rainfall is forecast for the next 24 hours.
"We continue to monitor the situation from our incident room.
"Please avoid driving on low-lying roads and keep clear of footpaths which are close to watercourses."
