BRADFORD is set for yet more Winter woe as the Met Office has issued another yellow weather warning.

The city was hit with a flurry of snow this morning which caused widespread disruption during rush-hour.

Major roads were blocked, the M606 was flooded and more than 100 schools had to close.

Now, the Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for ice in Bradford and its surrounding areas for overnight and into Tuesday morning.

It is in place from 8pm this evening until 10am tomorrow.

Further wintry showers are expected, with icy patches leading to possible hazardous travel.

Bradford is set to be battered by sleet and hail showers all day, according to weather forecasts.

They will continue, on-and-off, from 8am until 8pm.

Some roads and railways could be affected by the ice, leading to longer journey times by car, bus and train.

There will also be an increased chance of injuries and accidents on icy pavements and cycle paths.
