THE Denholme murder trial is set to resume later this morning.
The trial, which is now in its 22nd day, was due to continue at 10.30am today, but is now set to continue at noon.
Five men appear at Bradford Crown Court accused of the murder of Mohammed Feazan Ayaz, 20, at Denholme Business Centre between June 30 and July 1, 2019. All five men deny the charge. A 20-year-old man and a 17-year-old youth each deny a charge of assisting an offender.
The defence speech from Balbir Singh, representing Shaoib Shafiq, which began the last time the court sat on Thursday, will conclude.
This will be followed by the defence speech by Rodney Ferm, who is representing a 17-year-old youth, who cannot be named for legal reasons.
This will be followed by the summing up by trial judge, Mr Justice Goss. The jury will then retire to consider their verdicts.
