THERE would be no David v Goliath story as Bradford Bulls ran out 22-0 winners over Underbank Rangers in the fourth round of the Coral Challenge Cup yesterday.

It would also mark George Flanagan's comeback game for the Bulls following his ban at the end of last season. Rowan Milnes, Flanagan (on his 200th career appearance), Adam Rooks and Levy Nzoungou scored the hosts' side.

Here are a selection of tweets and messages following the Bulls victory:

The Matron, posting on the Telegraph & Argus: "The proof is in the pudding. The Bulls are a very poor side. Under bank are a well coached side who showed them up to some tune. The Conference is a good standard, save some brass and get down to Emsleys Rec and support West Bowling."

Shipley Paul: "There was definitely a casual look about the Bulls, and far too many errors but the glue pot of a pitch and the howling wind was a real leveller. It makes you wonder just how feasible it is to share the Dewsbury pitch if it's this bad so early in the season. All the games there so far have been affected by the wind blowing down the ground and with more winter to come yet, it's to be hoped that the pitch has an upturn in condition up its sleeve!"
