A DAY nursery has received its second ever Good rating.
Dracup Lodge Day Nursery, in Great Horton, was visited by Ofsted at the end of January with the report published on February 18.
It got a Good rating in its first inspection, back in 2015, after opening the year before.
The same outcome was achieved this time and the manager and staff were commended for their efforts.
The report said: "The ambitious manager and staff demonstrate an excellent understanding of how children learn."
Children's learning is varied and focuses on letting them lead the way often.
The report states: "Children have good opportunities to develop their independence during play.
"Children have access to a range of activities that help to promote their physical
development."
The nursery's relationship with parents is also a key strength according to the report.
It states: "Parents speak highly of the dedicated manager and staff.
"They are involved in all aspects of their children's care and learning at the setting and are invited to share children's achievements at home."
