A retailer has shut up shop in Carlisle city centre and moved to a bigger premises.
The Dreams store on at Byron House in The Maltings on Shaddongate closed to customers last Friday, February 14.
Since its closure at the end of last week, staff have been busy moving across the city to a new store.
Fortunately for shoppers, the trip isn't too far away.
Today (Friday), Dreams will open its doors within a larger unit at London Road Retail Park, which was briefly home to Office Outlet before the company went into administration and closed their stores across the country last spring.
It will neighbour the Costa Coffee drive-through which opened last year, and the nearby hardware shop B&Q.
A spokesman from Dreams said: ""The new location is a much bigger retail unit, so will provide Dreams customers a wider breadth of product to choose from.
"Our opening hours have been extended on Monday’s and Tuesday’s.
"Our experienced team of dedicated, friendly and knowledgeable Sleep Advisors look forward to welcoming customers into our new Carlisle store."
Rather than closing at the previous time of 6pm, the store will be open a further two hours every Monday and Tuesday.
