A BRADFORD mosque will host a discussion on climate change on Sunday.
Signs of the Earth - Islam, Modernity and the Climate Crisis takes place from 7.30pm to 9pm at the Central Mosque on Westgate.
The event will look at climate change and how Islam’s teachings about the environment.
Environmentalist Fazlun Khalid will be at the event to speak about “what is perhaps the greatest threat humanity faces today.”

As well as giving his views on the subject, there will be a question and answer session afterwards.
The event is open to people of all faiths or no faith.
A flyer for the event says: “We can already see the consequences of global warming on the planet. If we do not act, things could get much worse. Allah has made us caretakers of the Earth. As Muslims we should take climate change seriously.”
