FIREFIGHTERS are dealing with a blaze in between Shipley and Frizinghall.
Crews from Shipley fire station got the call out shortly after 5pm to reports of a large fire on Shipley Fields Road.
One firefighter on the night shift said: "You can see it from the station."
Alex Jaques called 999 after noticing the smoke near Frizinghall train station.
He told Telegraph & Argus: "There was lots of black smoke. I spotted the fire from up on Carr Lane so drove down towards it and rang 999.
"I thought it was in the recycling plant but after driving up Shipley Fields Road I discovered it was by the train tracks so rang 999 back to direct them.
"They had to use ladders to scale a metal fence that was locked to get access to the fire."
